A safe and nurturing environment where kids can explore new ideas while having fun in the kitchen. Bate Bate Chocolate is a studio that brings quality children’s programming to Honduras. When kids enter Bate Bate Chocolate’s kitchen, they enter a world where everything is possible. They have the recipe for stimulating the imagination and cultivating creativity.
The Challenge
Children are natural learners. They are curious about the world and are not afraid to fail. As we grow up, we generally lose these qualities. Bate Bate Chocolate looks to nurture kids’ curiosity while they have fun imagining, creating, and learning.
Our challenge was to create a branding system that captured their essence. And to express that essence in a joyful way to captivate children and their parents.
The Solution
We started by listening to the founders of Bate Bate Chocolate. In our conversations, we searched for their core purpose. We learned that they wanted to spark the light of curiosity in children. Together, we decided to focus on three words: nurturing, magical, and fun.We mostly looked at children’s books and stories that capture the magic and that get to entertain and educate them. Out of this came the cut-out illustrations. Something simple just as a child would make it. And that open-hearted simplicity is essential to the charm. We wanted the identity to be expressive as well. So we went ahead and used the length of the name and the variety of compositions as the main ingredient. The vivid color palette adds variety. Lastly, we used the soft and gentle Recoleta to add a nurturing character.
Over the past several months, we have been delighted to work with the founders. Together, we created a simple yet expressive brand identity. With these new ingredients, they will now be sharing their recipe for fun for years to come.

HappyWOD tiene la misión de hacer del ejercicio parte de la vida diaria. Creen que los humanos están diseñados para moverse. HappyWOD significa “Happy Workout Of the Day” (Ejercicio feliz del día). Son una tienda online de accesorios fitness cuyo objetivo es que los clientes celebren su salud todos los días. Quieren ayudar a las personas interesadas en el fitness a convertirse en una mejor versión de sí mismas, una versión más feliz y saludable. Quieren mostrar el lado real del fitness. Hacer que la gente vea que, aunque puede ser un desafío, también puede ser divertido y gratificante. Su misión es motivar y educar para que esto sea posible.
El Desafío
Entonces, ¿cómo nos dirigimos con aquellos que desean tener un estilo de vida saludable pero no saben cómo lograrlo o necesitan la motivación para seguir adelante? Necesitábamos descubrir cómo atraer a su cliente meta de una manera personal y llamativa. Para transmitir su mensaje con claridad.
La Solución
En el fondo, HappyWOD está creando una comunidad. Trabajamos con ellos para crear un lenguaje que sea fácil de entender, fácil de usar y atractivo para el espectador. Queríamos mostrar a HappyWOD como más que una marca, sino un movimiento.
Nos inspiramos en museos y galerías, lugares donde el texto informativo siempre es atractivo y agradable de leer. Usamos combinaciones de colores brillantes y una plantilla de cuadrícula de texto para hacer la lectura más agradable y atractiva. Para hacerlo personal y fácil de identificar, analizamos cómo los entusiastas del fitness realizan un seguimiento de sus WODs y sus metas. De ahí surgieron las expresiones, que dan movimiento y compromiso de identidad.
HappyWOD es una tienda digital donde su comunicación se ve principalmente en las redes sociales. Por eso, le dimos un aspecto más natural a la fotografía. Queríamos mostrar el lado real del fitness, donde podemos ver a personas genuinas y sin filtros disfrutando de su WOD.
La identidad de marca se afirma con certeza, pero nunca a costa de parecer intimidante, sino más bien atractivo y empoderador. La marca ahora puede prosperar en sus plataformas digitales. Habla directamente con quienes necesitan un poco de dirección para mostrarles que moverse más es la forma segura de tener una vida feliz y saludable.

Cuando creamos esta marca teníamos solamente el nombre y también muy claro los valores y objetivos de la misma.

HappyWOD is on a mission to make exercise a part of everyday life. Because they believe humans are designed to move. HappyWOD means “Happy Workout Of the Day.” They are an online fitness accessories shop whose goal is for customers to celebrate their health every day. They want to help people interested in fitness to become a better version of themselves — a happier and healthier version. They want to show the real side of fitness. To let people see that although it can be challenging, it can also be fun and rewarding. Their mission is to motivate and educate to make this possible.
The Challenge
So, how do you talk to those who desire to have a healthy lifestyle but don’t know how to achieve it or need the motivation to keep it going? We needed to find out how to attract their target in a relatable and engaging way. To get their message across crystal clear.
The Solution
At heart, HappyWOD is creating a community. We worked with them to create a language that is easy to understand, easy to use, and eye-catching to the viewer. We wanted to express HappyWOD as more than a brand but rather a movement.
We got inspired by museums and galleries — places where informational text is always attractive and pleasing to read. We used bright color combinations and a text grid template to make reading more pleasant and inviting. To make it personal and relatable, we looked at how fitness enthusiasts track their WODs and goals. Out of this came the expressions, which give the identity movement and engagement.
HappyWOD is a digital store where its communication is seen for the most part on social media. For this reason, we gave it a more natural look when it comes to photography. We wanted to show the real side of fitness, where we can see unfiltered, genuine people enjoying their WOD.
The design system asserts itself boldly, but never at the expense of looking intimidating but rather inviting and empowering. The brand can now thrive across its digital platforms. Talking directly to those who need a little direction and showing how moving more is the sure way to have a happy and healthy life.

Suyapa Monterroso is a Honduran plastic artist that specializes in beautiful human figures and colorful abstracts. Her work speaks of what she carries inside, expressing pleasant feelings and transmitting sensitivity and emotions to the viewer.
The Challenge
Suyapa wanted a website where she could showcase and sell her artwork. She needed an online portfolio where potential clients and art event organizers could see her art.
Instead of showing individual photos of her art, a website portfolio makes it easier for people to come back and see the art they want to see. It is also a more professional way for Suyapa to share her paintings.
The Solution
We wanted to create an experience and make her paintings stand out. To accomplish this, we looked at inspiration from art galleries. The website has a clean and minimal design where the art itself is not competing with any other element. The paintings are the focus point.
To make the navigation experience more pleasant, we made it easier for users to know more about the artist and the art pieces. Interested buyers can request specific information from a specific painting in a way where Suyapa can easily contact them and move on to the buying process.

Suyapa quería un sitio web donde pudiera exhibir y vender sus obras de arte.
